The Story of Ody

​

Ody is not like other dogs.

He did not know who his parents were, and he had no brothers or sisters to play with. He was the only puppy, all by himself in a single kennel, waiting for someone to notice him.

Even though Ody had a lonely beginning, he was not sad at all. Instead he was very unique. He had bright curious eyes that looked at everything like it was a treasure. Every sound, every smell, and every new person made him wonder, What is that? Where did it come from? Very playful and eager to enagage.  Ody loves exploring. He would sniff everything and everyone, blankets, peek around corners, and wag his tail whenever someone walked by. The workers at the shelter noticed that Ody was different. He was curious, playful, and full of personality.

Then one day, a couple came to the shelter and saw Ody. Ody looked up with his big eyes and tilted his head, wagged his tail endlessly and then bowed his head like he was asking, Are you here for me?

From that moment, Ody’s life changed.

Ody may not have known where he came from, but he was ready to find where he belonged. He became more than just a shelter dog or stray dog. He became a special friend, a little explorer, and a dog with a story of his own.

Ody’s beginning was a mystery, but his future was full of love, adventure, and treasures waiting to be found.
